weather data and analysis services in support of accident investigations,
insurance adjusters and for environmental report preparation. Our archive
of weather observations is extensive. With an observational database that
extends back to 1961 and that is continually updated (Red Sky
archives over 18 million weather observations per
year, including land, marine and upper-air) we are sure to have the information that you need.
 | Historical Weather
Analysis and Impact Reports
Red Sky's detailed historical
weather analysis and impact reports will provide you with a
comprehensive report that details the weather's impact on your event.
The
weather analysis report will be produced focusing on your unique
requirements and will include, in addition to the Weather Analysis,
elements of the Historical Weather Data Report, and Custom Historical
Weather Graphics products as required.
Since our client's site
of interest are not usually co-located with weather observation sensors, we
typically use multi-station spatial analysis techniques. Our analysis process
takes into account area surface conditions and topographic issues for
the reporting sites in the area and the site of interest. The conditions at the
reporting sites are reanalyzing using accepted atmospheric equations and
distance weighting models to determine the most probable conditions at
the site of interest.
 In addition, since surface conditions
are usually crucial for the analysis , Red Sky is also available
to travel to your site to conduct a mapping of your location and the
weather reporting sites in the area utilizing Global Positioning
Satellite Receivers and mobile Geographic Information System (GIS)
software.

Red Sky has extensive experience providing geospatial analysis to
the insurance, legal and building industries. Our team utilizes
state of the art software and hardware to support our clients,
including Geographic Information System mapping and geo-statistical
analysis software.

Historical Weather Data Report |
The basic report may include temperature
(maximum, minimum and mean), wind (direction and speed), precipitation
(when available), significant weather, and any other pertinent data as
required. This report is typically provided as a Microsoft Excel
workbook for maximum utility by our clients, but may be provided as an
Adobe Acrobat document. Custom weather data reports may also be produced
per your requirements.

Site specific weather reports are frequently not representative of
the weather event that occurred at your particular location. To get a
true understanding of the event a graphical analysis of the
historical weather is typically necessary.
Red Sky's extensive database of historical weather observations
and specialized weather chart production software and advanced GIS
capabilities enables us to produce
custom historical weather charts for almost any location in the world.
